Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the purchasing department’s activities and creating effective procurement strategies. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Leading and supervising procurement operations and staff
- Planning and managing purchases of equipment, services, and supplies
- Enforcing procurement policies and procedures
- Comparing and approving vendor products and services
- Maintaining accurate inventory, pricing, and supplier records
- Developing and maintaining strong vendor relationships
- Conducting supplier evaluations and negotiations
- Generating budgets, reports, and performance evaluations (KPIs)
- Addressing logistical bottlenecks and delays
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards
- Enhancing supply chain efficiency and safety
- Supporting company growth through collaborative planning with other departments
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate must bring:
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement within the Food & Beverage industry in the UAE
A valid UAE driving license and access to a car
Strong leadership and negotiation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
An organized, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset
The ability to start immediately is a big advantage
