Role Overview
The Packing and Loading Operator plays a critical role in ensuring efficient cement packing, bulk loading, and dispatch operations. Key Responsibilities
- The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Operating cement packers, bulk loading, and caricamat loading systems efficiently
- Monitoring truck loading activities to ensure accuracy and safety
- Performing quality inspections on pallets and loading equipment
- Preventing customer complaints and operational downtime
- Monitoring machinery sequences and carrying out preventive maintenance
- Managing shift documentation, including:
- Loading notes
- Inventory records
- Daily shift reports
- Export shipment tracking reports
- Conducting physical weight checks on filled bags
- Monitoring and maintaining “Date Printer” functionality
- Performing preventive maintenance (PM) and shutdown (SD) activities in cement mills
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety rules, housekeeping standards, and corporate policies
Education & Experience Requirements
Candidates should meet the following qualifications to be considered:
Mechanical Diploma, Minimum FSc, or Bachelor of Science
4–5 years of experience in the cement industry
Mandatory experience in packing operations
Grinding experience is an added advantage
Strong understanding of packing equipment and loading systems
