Union Bank of India is a prominent public sector bank under the Government of India. This apprenticeship program is organized to provide practical training in the banking sector and enhance the job skills of candidates.
Job Details
Position: Apprentice (under the Apprentices Act, 1961)
Total Vacancies: 1865 (39 vacancies in Kerala)
Training Duration: One year
Stipend:Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: ₹15,000 per month
Urban Branches: ₹18,000 per month
Metro Branches: ₹20,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as of 01.04.2026): Between 20 and 28 years.
SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
OBC: 3 years relaxation
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Only those who graduated after 01.04.2022 can apply.
Language Proficiency:
Must be able to read, write, and speak the regional language of the applied state (Malayalam for Kerala).
Selection Process
Online Exam: Objective test covering General Awareness, English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, and Banking Products.
Language Test: To verify proficiency in the regional language.
