Role Summary — Security Agent

The Security Agent performs aviation and general security duties across landside and airside zones. You will help enforce access control, carry out inspections and support surveillance and screening activities to maintain operational security.

Main duties

• Guarding, screening and surveillance at cargo warehouses, hangars and airside locations.
• Monitoring access points and conducting inspections and searches as required.
• Reporting suspicious behaviour or security breaches promptly and accurately.
• Coordinating with service-provider security staff and guiding their operational tasks.
• Acting as a fire warden and responding to emergencies when necessary.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to raise effectiveness and efficiency.
• Safeguarding sensitive and valuable consignments, including controlled or high-value cargo.
• Performing passenger-protection tasks such as secondary checks, baggage screening and LAGs inspections.
• Securing and processing lost-and-found items to return them to rightful owners.

Required qualifications

• Education: Minimum of 10 years of formal schooling or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years working in aviation security or a closely related field.
• Familiarity: Knowledge of airline handling procedures and standard security measures (searches, access control) is beneficial.
